I’ve spent years helping children, young people, adults, and families feel more connected, grounded, and supported. Whether you’re carrying something heavy or simply want to understand yourself better, I’m here to walk beside you — with compassion, honesty, and a little bit of lightness when we need it.



Why This Work Matters to Me
I didn’t start this work from a textbook — I started it from lived experience.
I’ve faced my own mental health challenges, and I know how much of a difference it makes to have someone really listen. Not try to fix you. Not rush you. Just see you, exactly as you are, and help you find your way forward.
That’s why Brave Journeys exists. Because real support — the kind that actually helps — is about showing up human-to-human. And you deserve that kind of support.
I have worked with children, young people, adults and families for many years and what we are seeing now is breaking point in services.
School attendance is below pre covid levels at 91% with almost 40% of secondary pupils persistently absent. This is linked to anxiety, stres and fear, with Emotionally based School Avoidance being recognised as a major reason children CAN’T – NOT WON’T attend.
Almost 1 in 2 children in scotland now has an additional support need. Not just Autism or ADHD, but anxiety, emotional overwhelm and family stress.
I am dealing with levels of stress and overwhelm that left services stretched to capacity where agencies like CAHMS are looking at 19 month waiting times.
We want to try and do as much as we can to support children, young people and families through this.
My Approach
My sessions are friendly, flexible, and built around you. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy — because no two people (or families) are the same.
You can expect a space where you’ll be heard, never judged, and gently supported toward whatever change or clarity you’re looking for.
Depending on your needs, I may draw from counselling, coaching, hypnotherapy, EFT tapping, or NLP — always working at a pace that feels right.

It starts with a simple conversation about what is actually going on in your life right now.

Conversation feels natural not forced, and their is no pressure to say the right thing, no anylysing every word.
Just space to be honest, make sense of things and begin to feel a bit more steady again.
